Boutiq Switch Review
A straight take on the Switch range from the people who stock it: what is good, what is not, and which model to buy.
Our verdict
The Boutiq Switch earns its popularity for one reason: more than one strain in one device, with a button to choose. That works. What decides whether you will like it is which model you buy and whether it is genuine.
Our recommendation for most people is the Switch V5 3-in-1. If you know you only use two strains, buy the V4 and keep the difference. If you go through a device a week, the V6 3g is the better value per gram.
What the Switch does well
- Strain choice in one device. A sativa for the day and an indica for the night, without carrying two pens.
- Infinity Mode. Firing every tank at once gives a blend you cannot get from a single-strain disposable.
- A huge flavor list. Well over a hundred sets across the lines, many searched by name every month.
- USB-C charging on current models, so the battery outlasts the oil.
Where it falls short
- Uneven tanks. Most people favor one strain, so one tank empties first and the device is part used for the rest of its life.
- Infinity Mode drinks oil. Three tanks at once means a device empties far faster.
- Counterfeits. The V5 is heavily copied, and a fake gives you none of the above. Read our real vs fake Boutiq guide before buying anywhere.
- Voltage instructions vary between batches, so the card in the box is the only reliable guide. Our how to use guide covers the basics.
Are Boutiq carts good?
Boutiq carts are a sensible buy if you already own a 510 battery and want one strain at a time. Run them at low voltage. If you want multiple strains, the Switch makes more sense than buying three carts.

Is the Boutiq Switch worth it?
Yes, if you want more than one strain in one device and you buy a genuine one. For most people the V5 is the best pick; the V4 is better value if two strains are enough.
Do smoke shops sell Boutiqs?
Many do, but copies are common in shops as well as online. Check the strain names, the print and the code on the box wherever you buy.
Boutiq V5 or V6: which is better?
The V6 holds 3g against the V5 at 2g, so it usually works out cheaper per gram. Choose the V5 if the flavor set you want is only made for the V5.
